At Leslie Shoaf Photography, LLC, I respect your privacy and want you to feel confident when you book a session with me. Below you’ll find details about how I handle your information and the terms of using my services.
Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payments
- A non-refundable $100 retainer is required at the time of booking to hold your session date.
- The retainer is applied to your total balance.
- The remaining balance is due on or before your scheduled session date.
- Sessions are priced to include locations within 25 miles of Delaware, Ohio. Travel beyond this may require an additional fee.
- Late payments may incur a 5% per month late fee on the remaining balance.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Retainers are non-refundable.
- Sessions may be cancelled with at least 7 days’ notice. Cancellation within 7 days means the retainer and any payments made are forfeited.
- Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 2 days’ notice. If a new date cannot be agreed upon, the reschedule is treated as a cancellation.
- In the rare event the photographer cannot perform the services, Leslie Shoaf Photography, LLC will attempt to provide a qualified replacement (with client approval). If not possible, all monies paid (including retainer) will be refunded.
Image Delivery & Editing
- You will receive a personal online gallery with your session images, including light editing on all delivered photos.
- Detailed retouching is provided on your selected fully-edited images (the number depends on your chosen session type).
- Delivery times vary by season; you’ll be given an estimated timeframe at booking.
Client Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for locations and participants (such as park permits).
- Clients release Leslie Shoaf Photography, LLC from any claims related to the use of images in marketing, portfolio, or promotional materials unless otherwise requested in writing before the session.
Photographer Rights
& Style
- Leslie Shoaf Photography, LLC retains the copyright to all images.
- Clients are granted a license for personal use only (sharing online, printing for personal display, albums, gifts, etc.).
- Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without prior written consent.
- By booking, you acknowledge you’ve reviewed Leslie’s portfolio and agree to her artistic style and judgment. The photographer has final say in editing and aesthetic decisions.
Liability & Force Majeure
- Leslie Shoaf Photography, LLC is not liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control (weather, illness, emergencies, equipment failure, etc.).
- In case of illness or unforeseen emergency lasting more than 60 days, clients may cancel and receive a refund of any payments made (excluding the retainer).
- The photographer’s maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid.

- Session information (date, type, location).
- Payment information (processed securely through Pixieset)

- To communicate about your session.
- To deliver galleries, contracts, invoices, and updates.
- To provide store access for print or product orders.
Sharing of Information
- Your information is only shared with trusted third-party services (Pixieset, payment processors, labs) as needed to complete your booking or order.
- I never sell your information.
Data Security
- Online galleries are password-protected.
- Payment processing uses secure, industry-standard encryption.
